DependableHost.net offers 8.95 for a year....is this too good to be true? Does anyone have any experience with this web host that can help me? Also, is it google adsense friendly?

$8.95 a year? Sure that's not for domain registration? If it is for hosting, I bet the server is super slow, or lame in some other way. See if they have a user forum, and see what the other members are saying.

8.95 for the year sounds more like you're getting a domain than hosting. You might be interested in checking out Bravenet, they offer quite a bit for free and even more for paid hosting. I also think they're [Bravenet] is google adsense friendly but not 100% sure on that.
