Okay, a second try and now it seems to work. A quick check of WHOIS shows the site registed to Boling Jiang in Overland Park, Kansas. Not sure what his business model is, but it sure seems like a very good offer. But you know what they say about things that seem too good to be true...





Back again with another edit... I noticed several typos on their home page, and slow response in clicking on links. The forum wouldn't open and their FAQ link returned an error. The bottom paragraph says, "So What's the Catch?

A search of Google only showed a few hits for sites on their servers (scsc.3000mb.com was one) but it didn't show a text banner as far as I could tell.

I agree about 1and1.com as a 'low-cost' hosting site. So if you are worried about this 'free' site having any gotchas, consider 1and1.com (That's 1 (one) and 1 (one) . com) Report It
