Web hosting help please? DependableHost.net?

DependableHost.net offers 8.95 for a year....is this too good to be true? Does anyone have any experience with this web host that can help me? Also, is it google adsense friendly?
Web hosting help please? DependableHost.net?
I am not sure about dependablehost.net but hosting is one thing but I can give you an alternative that is great for anybody looking to start hosting a website. Host your site with Global Domains International and you pay $10 a month but it is also a Multi-Level Marketing company and you earn money for every person you refer and for the people they refer.. You can build an awesome residual income with Global Domains International.. Check it out..

No that is not to good to be true. I've been on somehing I bought on ebay for 拢1.99 a year and unlimited mailboxes, bandwith, sub-domains and addon domains. Also 10GB storage. They are not selling it anymore, but there are loads of gret offers on ebay. If you pay by paypal, and you don't get what they describe, you get your money back. You can also look at their ratings.

Google adsense is freindly as long as you don't click on you own ads (Trust me - I know!)

If you need any help please email me dan@artmonk.co.uk (Made by that hosting)
Reply:$8.95/ yr is for the domain only ( yourname.com), it doesn't come with any webspace. Try a host like Startlogic who has been around for 5 years, their price is $5.95 per month, comes with a free domain ( yourname.com) and toll free support.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
Reply:I'm not familiar with DependableHost, but the company that I do go through, HostGator, has very good hosting for $9.95 a month, and I'm not only using them myself, but for several clients as well.

There's a lot more to consider though than just bandwidth and drive space (and reliability, of course). Your needs will vary, depending on what kind of content you'll be putting online. Will there be dynamic data? Blogs? Discussion groups? An online store? Check out my write up on some of the lesser-known specs they don't tell you about before you sign up...

Reply:I just looked and the lowest price they offer is $5.99 per month but with the options they offer its not a bad price to pay for a server. As far as i know with any paid server you should be allowed to add the javascript for google adsense.
Reply:i think everyother person is trying to promote his or her web hosting service by answering your question...what i suggest is visit http://www.xekom.com they have a list of best web hosting companies listed out their...read what you want to go with and decide on which hosting service suits your requirement...

PS: dont make ur decision based on just one factor i.e money...u need to check out the reputation of the host, 100% uptime, the hosting space, software supported, secure or not, customer service, etc...

hope this answers ur question
Reply:Hi,

When choosing a web host it's of course important to consider the cost (some hosting can be very expensive) but here are some other important things you should take into consideration too:

Web Hosting Space: Some web hosts will only give you 500MB or so of space. This could be a concern if you are looking at creating large websites.

Bandwidth: Some web hosts will severely limit the bandwidth you can use before you incur extra charges.

Uptime: There's no point in having a website if people can't see it. Does your web host offer at least a 99% uptime guarantee?

Number of websites allowed: If you're looking to host more than one website on your account, will your web host charge you more to do this?

Support: If you have any problems you need to be able to contact your web host quickly and easily to get the problem sorted.

I have used Hostgator as my web host for over two years now and have been very very impressed with them. Firstly they're very cheap but still give me more web hosting space and bandwidth than I'll ever need, the ability to host unlimited websites, a 99.9% uptime guarantee and great customer support. You can find them at http://www.webhostgator.info

Reply:Hmm鈥︹€?great question. Wasn鈥檛 too sure of the answer myself... But looking around I found a site that has what you need in detail: http://easyurl.net/web-hosting and some other info on it.

Hope this answer helps, as I know you asking it helped me. If it doesn鈥檛 send me a message and I鈥檒l try to help you out with it some more.

Best Regards,
